cost that should be managed on a daily basis, just as labor
and material
• energy should be a shared
accountability between engineering and production
• we do not recommend
solutions that require capital expenditures (80% of MAL's
time is working on the people utilization side of energy use
and 20% of the time is spent working on equipment standards
and capabilities)
