MAL uses a three phased approach
in addressing the maintenance issues facing companies today:

Phase I-
analyzes the total operation taking into consideration
the current mode of operation regarding effectiveness of information,
resource utilization (people, process and equipment), operating
standards, methods, operating performance, set-up and changeover
transitions, current management skill deficiencies and work
in process implications. MAL identifies the areas of opportunity
that relate directly to recoverable operating costs and defines
the return on investment.
Phase II- implements
the management and hourly skills, practices, processes and
metrics required to achieve the bottom-line impact identified
in the Phase I analysis.
Phase III- audits on
a quarterly basis the results achieved in the Phase II and
manages the continuous improvement for additional available
savings. Other potential operations are jointly identified
for improvement opportunities in your company.
